Title Loans Union

Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 26, 2026

Title Loans Union ("we," "our," or "us") prioritizes protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy governs our data practices in full compliance with United States federal and state laws, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and other applicable state data privacy regulations.

We operate as an online loan matching, referral, and informational service. When you submit an inquiry through our Application Form, we share your input data with third-party lending networks and direct lenders in our network to facilitate your request for a loan matching.

1. Information We Collect

To connect you with a participating lender, we, or a third-party partner hosting our forms, collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated with you ("Personal Information").

  • Identifiers: Name, physical address, email address, phone number, and date of birth.
  • Financial Information: Monthly income source, estimated monthly income, employment status, pay frequency, and bank account presence (to deposit funds).
  • Vehicle Information: Vehicle make, model, year, trim, mileage, and title status (to estimate potential title loan collateral value).
  • Technical Identifiers: IP address, browser type, operating system, and tracking data collected via standard security protocols to prevent fraudulent submissions.

2. How We Use and Share Your Information

We use your Personal Information solely to perform our matching service and connect you with certified lenders. By submitting your inquiry, you authorize us to:

  • Transmit your information securely to lenders and lending networks within our affiliate group who can review your request.
  • Facilitate a real-time referral connection so lenders can contact you to complete a loan process.
  • Improve site usability, combat automated spam, and comply with state and federal legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to non-financial third parties for unrelated multi-level marketing or unsolicited services. Sharing occurs limitedly to licensed short-term lenders, title loan providers, or finance networks in order to fulfill your requested loan options.

3. Federal GLBA Privacy Notice (Financial Information)

For the purposes of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, you are considered a "consumer" when you submit an inquiry to be matched with a financial provider.

GLBA Disclosure Summary:

Why can’t I limit all sharing?Federal law gives you the right to limit sharing only for (i) affiliates' everyday business purposes—information about your creditworthiness, (ii) affiliates from using your info to market to you, and (iii) nonaffiliates to market to you. State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing.
Financial PartnersParticipating lenders may independently pull consumer reports or background credit checks from credit bureaus (like Experian, Equifax, or TransUnion) to determine creditworthiness when reviewing your match request.

4. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

Under California law, California residents have specific statutory rights concerning their Personal Information.

  • Right to Know: You may request disclosure of the specific categories of data collected, the source, the business purpose for sharing, and whom we shared it with.
  • Right to Delete: You can request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to statutory exemptions (such as legal compliance).
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: Since transmitting your data to a matching partner to find a loan could count as a "sale" or "sharing" under CCPA definitions, you have the right to opt-out. Note that doing so prevents us from performing the matching service.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not deny services, charge different rates, or discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

California residents can submit privacy requests, deletion requests, or opt-out notices by emailing us with the subject line "CCPA Privacy Request."

5. Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) Consent

By providing your telephone number on any form on this site, you explicitly acknowledge and consent to receive marketing and promotional communications, which may include auto-dialed calls, pre-recorded messages, text and SMS/MMS messages, from Title Loans Union and our affiliate lending partners. You understand that this electronic consent is not a required condition of any purchase or loan approval. Standard carrier message and data rates may apply.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Our services are directed exclusively to adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18 in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we learn that such information has been submitted, it will be deleted immediately.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards (such as Secure Socket Layer / Transport Layer Security encryption) to protect data transmitted through our website. However, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as 100% secure. You provide your information to us at your own voluntary risk.

8. Contact and Opt-Out Information
